Illinois Supplier Increases Exports with Branded Program

by Food Export | Jun 21, 2018
In 2017, American Pharmaceutical Innovations Company (AmPharma), located in Downers Grove, Illinois, in the 6th Congressional District, participated in Food Export’s Branded Program that helped them gain $2,750,000 in new export sales to Thailand and Egypt. In February, the supplier was able to report these new sales and also projected to complete $150,000 in sales over the next twelve months while also making 102 new contacts and gaining 2 new agent relationships. This was AmPharma’s first time exporting to Thailand.

The Illinois Supplier has utilized the Market Access Program funded Branded Program since 2016. AmPharma has also participated in Food Export Buyers Missions, Food Export Trade Missions, and the Online Product Catalog.

AmPharma is a producer of animal feed ingredients and additives, such as supplements, probiotics, and yeast and cultures.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
