by Food Export | Aug 10, 2018
In March 2018, Dozers Dental Chews DBA Pure Technology, located in West Henrietta, New York, in the 25th Congressional District, attended Food Export’s 2018 Pet Food Buyers Mission at Global Pet Expo where they interacted with a buyer from New Zealand.

In July, they made a sale of pet products product worth $5,000. They are anticipating a growth in sales worth $45,000 over the next year. They have also successfully exported to South Korea.

According to Bonnie Robson, the Brand Ambassador, “Food Export – Northeast is a wonderful partner for companies looking to grow and expand internationally!  We have been able to lean on our liaison Ben Cortese and on Dennis Lynch [Food Export Helpline™ Counselor] for advice and help in getting clearance to ship outside of the U.S. As we grow and learn further, Food Export is going to be a great help to us.” Bonnie added that, Food Export through their Branded Program provided funds to cover some expenses to exhibit at the 2018 Global Pet Expo. They also had an outstanding exposure to trade leads. As a result, they gained more insight of exporting and look forward to expanding their business.

Dozers Dental Chews is a family-owned business and a producer of pet food products. Canada and Mexico are their next target destinations for exporting their products.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
