Miller's Mustard Establishes Partnership at 2018 Northeast Buyers Mission

by Food Export | Sep 17, 2018
On January 29, 2018, Miller’s Mustard, located in Gibsonia, PA in the 3rd Congressional District, attended Food Export’s Northeast Buyers Mission in Philadelphia. At the event, the company met with various international food buyers, including a representative of a large food importer from Japan. In February 2018, Miller’s completed a sale of Miller’s Sweet & Spicy Banana Pepper Mustard and has shipped five pallets of product to their new partner.

According to Robb Miller, Founder and CEO, “After meeting the Japanese Importer at the Food Export Buyers Mission, we sent samples and had our first official order within one month. This was our first sale to Japan and we plan on participating in the Branded Program in 2019 to further expand our business in the market. Since the first shipment, we’ve already shipped two reorders. We wouldn’t have this business in Japan without Food Export’s buyers’ missions and export assistance.”

Miller’s Mustard is a manufacturer of Sweet & Spicy Banana Pepper mustards in the condiment market.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
