In January of 2018, Legally Addictive Foods, LLC from Brooklyn, New York attended Food Export’s Northeast Buyers Mission. There they met with buyers from eight different international markets to introduce to them their unique “Crack Cookies”.
The buyer from Japan took great interest in the product offered by the Brooklyn Supplier and this past June they reported a first-time export sale to the market for $3,000. This new agent relationship also helps
Legally Addictive Foods to project sales of $3,000 over the next twelve months.
New to utilizing
Food Export programs and services this year, Legally Addictive Foods has participated in one Buyers Mission, is part of the Online Product Catalog and has used the Food Export Helpline™. They also utilized the Branded Program to attend the 2017 Sweets and Snacks Expo and the Summer Fancy Food Show.
Food Export uses funding from the
Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the
USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
