In 2017, Vectra Trading, Inc., located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, participated in Food Export’s Branded Program, which resulted in the creation of 35 new buyer contacts as well as sales of their bread and liquid oil products over $1,000,000 to the United Arab Emirates.
Utilizing the
Market Access Program (MAP) funded
Branded Program enabled the Pennsylvania Supplier to receive 50% reimbursement of approved expenses for participation in the Gulfood show where they gained the new buyer contact that resulted in the sales mentioned above.

The supplier has utilized the Branded Program, the Food Export Helpline™, the Online Product Catalog, and participated in a Focused Trade Mission and Food Show PLUS!™
Food Export uses funding from the
Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
