2017 was the first year that Germantown, Wisconsin based Isle of Dogs Corporation participated in the Market Access Program (MAP) funded Food Export Branded Program. Focused on gaining market share in China, the Supplier utilized their allocated funding to promote their premium dog products in the fastest growing market in the pet industry.
This past January
Isle of Dogs Corporation was able to report that due to the utilization of their MAP funding they were able to earn $1,000,000 of export sales to China for their pet hair care products while also gaining 10 new foreign buyer contacts and 3 new agent relationships. We are looking forward to their continued success in 2018.

Food Export uses funding from the
Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the
USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
