Michigan Exporter Utilizes Education Support Services

by Food Export | Jan 10, 2019
In 2018, Fry Krisp Food Products, located in Jackson, Michigan, in the 7th Congressional District, participated in the Food Export – Midwest’s Helpline™, Export Essentials modules, various webinars and a seminar to help educate themselves on the various intricacies of exporting.

As a result, Fry Krisp has been able to get their specific export questions answered, vet potential export opportunities, and prepare for meetings with buyers at Food Export’s Buyers Missions.  We look forward to hearing about their earned export success this upcoming year!

According to Vice President Stephen Artz, “The Food Export team has done an excellent job teaching us how to present ourselves in international markets. Any question we have had, were answered right away. The team is a pleasure to work with. True professionals. ”

Fry Krisp Food Products is a producer of seasoned batter and coating mixes used to prepare foods for frying, spices and baking in the food service and retail market segments.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
