Savory Sales for Pennsylvania Company

by Food Export | Mar 12, 2019
In 2018, SB Global Foods, Inc., located in Hatboro, Pennsylvania in the 13th Congressional District, utilized funding from Food Export - Northeast’s Branded Program to make sales in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines where they made 3 foreign contacts. They made 3 new agent relationships with buyers from each of the three countries.

Through Food Export, they introduced Pretzel Pete Pretzels, which were well received. Thanks to their involvement in the Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program over the years, they are now exporting Pretzel Pete to fifteen countries and are projecting total export sales over the next three years to reach over $1,000,000. These sales make their efforts a success for this Pennsylvania supplier.

SB Global Foods specializes in packaged consumer snack, confection and grocery products. For more information, visit their website at

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
