Spreading Export Sales for Pennsylvania Company

by Food Export | Mar 12, 2019
In 2018, The Bacon Jams, LLC, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania in the 6th Congressional District, utilized funding from Food Export - Northeast’s Branded Program to make sales in Canada. They made 12 foreign contacts and 1 new agent relationship after utilizing their funding to ship samples, make label modifications and produce/distribute promotional product materials.

With their allocated funding they introduced TBJ Gourmet savory spreads, which were well received. Thanks to their involvement with the Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program, they gained approximately $6,000 in sales and are projecting total export sales to reach over $15,000. These new sales make their efforts and the utilization of program funds a success for this Pennsylvania supplier.

The Bacon Jams specializes in varieties of gourmet spreads. For more information, visit their website at
Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
