In June of 2018, Neilly’s Foods, located in York, Pennsylvania attended Food Export - Northeast’s Specialty Food Buyers Mission at the 2018 Summer Fancy Food Show where they had the opportunity to make a close connection with a buyer from Canada. They are currently communicating with the buyer and seeking to expand exports to this market.
According to Albert Ndjee, President & CEO of Neilly’s Foods, “The [Food Export]
Buyers Mission has served as a tool to understand multiple foreign markets in a short time frame. It’s useful being able to learn about the various regulations and other requirements that relate to our products in international markets.”
Neilly’s Foods makes healthy, convenient and multicultural food products. They have taken some of the most complex recipes and made cooking easy and accessible to all. Their products are all natural, MSG and preservative-free. They offer various rice and bean mixes, beans stew mixes, yuca fries, plantain bites, chicken stew and rice, chicken jambalaya, and more products.
Food Export uses funding from the
Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the
USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
