New Jersey Supplier Finds Success at VIV Asia

by Food Export | Jul 19, 2019
In March 2019, Fornazor International, located in Hillsdale, New Jersey, in the 5th Congressional District, attended VIV Asia 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand, a leading trade show in the animal feed sector. They used Food Export – Northeast Branded Program funding to assist in the cost of exhibiting at the show and they participated in our Food Show PLUS! tradeshow enhancement package at the show. South East Asia is one of Fornazor’s top 3 markets and they saw a great deal of interest in their Halal Certified feeds/ingredients at the show.

Johnny Fornazor Jr., Vice President at Fornazor, reports that attending the show was very fruitful for the company and as a result they have seen a number of benefits.  They made many new contacts in the feed industry that they are engaging with on a regular basis and are making inroads with potential customers interested in their SuperPro Plus product.  Also, as a result of attending the show they sold 6,000 metric tons of soybeans to Nepal.

Fornazor International has been participating in Food Export – Northeast activities since 2010.  They offer a wide variety of commodities and feed ingredients such as animal proteins, Halal vegetable proteins, vegetable proteins, marine protein, whole grains, forage grasses and equine feeds.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
