New York Company Doubles Sales With Branded Program

The American Cocktail Company, located in Manhattan within the 10th Congressional District, participated in Food Export – Northeast’s Market Access Program (MAP) Branded Program where they focused their marketing efforts in Italy.

In 2017 the American Cocktail Company started using the Branded Program in the hopes of entering the market and saw $50,000 in new export sales. In 2018, just one year later, they doubled their prior sales coming to a total of $100,000 with strategies that included online advertising via social media and label modifications geared towards the Italian market. In addition, they gained 50 new foreign contacts and fostered 2 new distributor relationships.

As a result, we’ve expanded our reach to two countries in the EU and are hoping for more as we continue to grow.”

Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
