Otamot Foods, located in Brooklyn, New York, is an organic tomato sauce company. Their signature sauce contains ten organic vegetables, including red bell peppers, sweet potatoes and red beets. This “innovative tomato sauce is formulated to deliver maximum nutrition from whole, plant-based foods.”
Otamot Foods, which is tomato spelled backwards, was found at the
Plant Based World Convergence & Expo in New York City. After connecting with Food Export – Northeast, Otamot decided to participate in Food Export’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded
Branded Program to expand their reach and meet international buyers at some of the biggest domestic tradeshows in the U.S. By using their Branded Funds to exhibit at
Natural Products Expo East, they met a buyer in Canada and have just received and shipped their first order. They are also looking to expand into China.
What started as a way for a foodie dad to please his picky daughter has quickly turned into a new product for a healthier, more nutritious classic. For more information on this tomato sauce company from New York, visit their website: https://www.otamotfoods.com/
Food Export uses funding from the
Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the
USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
