First-Time Market Sale for New York Supplier

Life Plus Style Gourmet, LLC is a small grocery wholesaler from Valley Stream, New York that was formed in 2013.The company manufacturers, designs, and packages gourmet food products including coffee, gourmet syrups, cocktail mixers, Himalayan salt, assorted spices and sugars, and recently launched Coney Island Popcorn.

Life Plus Style Gourmet LLC has participated in Food Export’s Branded Program, Food Export Helpline™, Webinars, numerous Buyers Missions and Focused Trade Missions.

In February of 2019, Life Plus Style Gourmet utilized Food Export – Northeast’s Food Show PLUS!™ services while attending the Gulfood Show. The offered services helped the New York Supplier get an overview of the Middle East retail snack market with a market briefing by the local USDA, Foreign Agricultural Service and Food Export’s Middle East’s In-Market Representative. They also received on the show floor services such as lead review, trade servicing, and buyer introductions.

Their show attendance and services helped Life Plus Style Gourmet gain 4 new agent relationships and $40,000 in new export sales. The company also projects to earn $70,000 more in sales over the next twelve months from this new relationship.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products; as these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
